Key Job Accountabilities

  • Provide demonstrable competency and previous experience to advise, makerecommendationsand leads as the Project Focal Point regarding the followingProject Installation analysis; Loadout,Transportation and installation,including, weight control, yard mooring and transportationbarge(s) ballast, seafastening, tow stability, offshore mooring(s), installation lift andpositioning,vessel impact and general marine operations

  • Supervises the upending blasting/flooding, on bottom stability,pushover, piling and driveability.

  • The Installation lead shall be expected to provide complete competency andbe fully conversantwith the analysis of jacket fatigue, field seismicconditions and potential.

  • Inspection and audit of Marine vessels, including vessel suitabilityfor work scope(s)

  • Focal point at site, for implementing safety leadership and safe executionof the work and assistthe Construction & Installation Manager in executingProject responsibilities.

  • Manage all Offshore Installation requirements of the Project, to ensurethe technical objectivesare met within the approved scope, budget, schedule andensure technical interfaces with ProjectPMT, Site PMT and Contractors aremanaged effectively.

  • Support external interfaces with RLC, other operators and Schedule andarrange technical supportto shareholders.

  • Lead, monitor, approve, Contractor and installation work; ensureContractor design documentsand other submittals are reviewed and approved inaccordance with the EPC contractrequirements.

  • Ensure technical aspects of the Risk Management Plan are managedeffectively and review andapprove design changes, coordinate all onshore andinstallation changes specification revisionsand exceptions in accordance withthe Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.

  • Manage the training of employees and ensure it is up to date, and allequipment is maintained toa high standard.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Preferred Engineering Degree or relevant on the job experience

  • Extensive Offshore experience in a Supervisory Role

  • Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass anoffshore medical evaluation. · OPITO certification is considered a plus
