Key Job Accountabilities

  • Provide management andtechnical direction for all facets of the division (scheduling, planning,reporting,change order cost estimating and cost engineering) by establishing aset of project control procedures,guidelines and flow charts to suit projectrequirements and needs to support management decisionmaking process.

  • Establish QGPMS policy,procedures, processes and management system enhancements by providingfeedback,identifying gaps, making recommendations and action plans to management tocontinuallyimprove the entire process including adopting industry bestpractices in coordination with relevant groups(e.g., E&P, Operations,Subsurface, and shareholders.

  • Lead and provide guidance onpreparation of Gate deliverables to the projects, including Roadmap,DeliverablesResponsibilities Matrix to ensure QGPMS compliance. Secures completed GateDeliverablesfrom the Projects and ensure necessary arrangements are taken tocomplete archiving.

  • Responsible for developingand implementing the Project Control Plan, in addition to reviewing projectchangesrelated to schedule and/or cost; incorporating the effect and impact ofapproved changes intooverall cost and schedule stewardship and reporting.

  • Manage project workforceplanning and resourcing, ensuring changes are managed fairly using consistentdecisionmaking criteria across the project.

  • lead interface between Project Manager,Business Manager, PMT members and Contractor with respectto cost and scheduleperformance, reporting and approvals.

  • Responsible for ensuringeffective project control measures are executed by the Contractor and sub-contractororganizations, with particular emphasis on schedule management, planning andprogressmonitoring, recommend modifications to management to ensure Company andPMT standards andrequirements are met.

  • Coordinate thecollecting, consolidating, analyzing, and reporting all project cost andschedule, control,trend, and progress measurement information to support costestimation activities as requested byProject Leadership.

  • Review invoices forcompliance and completeness, liaise with the Contractor and the ProjectAccountingDepartment in the resolution of queries and disputes. Provides datafor accounting and auditing functionsand ensures Contractor’s accountingsystems meet Company audit requirements.

  • Coordinate developmentof project essential commercial agreements with service providersand stakeholders,

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor degree inEngineering or Business degree related subject or equivalent experience.

  • 12 years’ experience in amajor project environment within the oil and gas industry, with exposure inbusiness management including project controls, cost and schedule development,tender preparation and contract management and 3 years supervising multidiscipline and multi-cultural teams and as Lead of control for mega projects.
