Job Specification:

Manage the construction and execution activities performedby the EPC Contractor and Sub-Contractors and ensure execution of the projectis completed within approved project parameters including safety, quality, costand schedule in order to meet Project objective.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Uphold safety, health, environmental and worker welfareperformance of all site execution activities. Implements and sustains a strongsafety culture to the EPC Construction Team, EPC Contractor, itsSub-contractors and Vendors by monitoring site activities and by inspiringsafety commitment via demonstration of safety leadership by example. Ensurescompliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures andpolicies in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

  • Uphold Project Quality requirements through visible supportto the Project’s Quality Management System and ensures EPC-3 Contractor andsub-contractors execute work to the highest level of quality possible tofacilitate a trouble-free start-up and long-term facility availability andreliability.

  • Review, verify and approve the EPC Contractor’sconstruction sequence, construction engineering, work plans, pre-task planningand method statements to ensure EPC construction activities are completed inaccordance with NFE Onshore Project procedures, regulations, specifications andstandards.

  • Direct the EPC Contractor in planning, scheduling andimplementing the construction execution plan, method statements, and otherrelevant procedures to ensure the work plan and scopes are aligned with projectstrategies and deliver the safe execution of the project. Identify projectdeviations and schedule slippages and implement the required solutions.

  • Facilitate constructability reviews, brownfield activitiespreparation and construction review meetings and complete all reports, ensuringthe areas of concerns and specific technical issues are identified and tackledon time, with relevant mitigations in line with project specifications andrequirements.

  • Direct the EPC Contractor towards construction completionand provide assistance and direction in the Mechanical Completion, incoordination with NFE Onshore construction support departments as required, andprovide support to Commissioning and Start-up activities, working with allinvolved parties to facilitate these activities.

  • Complete construction reporting as required by ProjectManagement ensuring the content of EPC Contractor’s reports and records arereviewed and approved to ensure compliance with project contractualrequirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelors’ degree in an Engineering discipline.

 

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 12 years’ experience Project Execution, with a strongbackground in fabrication, construction and management of large and complexbrownfield field construction activities.

  • Proven experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)methodology and systems completion management and associated databases.

  • Experience with major and first tier EPC Contractors,Sub-Contractors and Vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.

  • Experience with LPG and Condensate Storage and LoadingProjects including Product Rundown and Loading Lines.
