Essential Job Functions

Develop new business for Applus Velosi Oman by Introducing Applus Velosi services to existing and potential new clients through presentations, meetings / cold calling, emails and phone calls.

Act as focal point between the company and the clients/prospects.   

Develop professional relationships (KAM) with key clients and prospects.

Interact with operational teams to ensure correct understanding of client requirements. Attend clarification meetings with Consultants, Contractors and Clients when required.

Collaborate with operational departments to identify new business opportunities.

Work closely with department coordinators to make sure submission of proposals to client is on time. Assist and follow up on all submitted proposals in order to close sales.

Prepare pre-qualification documents as per project or client requirements. Update existing pre-qualifications with clients (online/manual) as needed.

Prepare yearly market studies and action plans with RBMD/CM/ RM.

Gather market, competitor and client information and share with management.

Secondary Job Functions

Keep track of and respond to enquiries in a timely manner. Ensure proposals are submitted within 48 hours. Follow-up on pending proposals in order to convert them into orders.

Keep track of published tenders. Attend tender pre-bid meetings at clients' place and internal tender meetings when required.

Attend and represent company at exhibitions, seminars or other events as required.

Participate in the 6 monthly customer satisfaction surveys by sending survey form to clients and follow up on their feedback.

Assist in updating Oman online social platforms (Facebook and LinkedIn).

Assist Accounts Department on payment collection when required.

Prepare weekly/monthly marketing and sales reports as required. Review individual KPI performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.

Attend to client complaints and work with the appropriate department to reach resolution.

Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.


Bachelor Degree or Higher National Diploma.
High standard of computer literacy.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Valid driver's license.
