Transportation & Installation Advisor

Job Purpose:                  

Responsible forTransportation and Installation planning in the FEED phase

Key Job Accountabilities :

• Determine,uphold and inspire safety, health, environment and security performance for allfabrication activities during the execution of the workscope via demonstrablesafety

• Leadership,compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures andpolicies in order to promote a healthy and safe work environment.

• Review andinput to FEED contractor transportation and installation planning activitiesfor NFPS Compression in accordance with agreed quality, schedule and budget.

• Directs work infull compliance with Qatargas Standards of Business Conduct and Qatar GasProject Management System (QGPMS).

• Provide inputto transportation and installation studies during FEED

• Participate inFEED Contructability reviews, Construction Work Package planning andtransportation and installation requirement for EPC ITT bids.

• Maintain stronginteraction Project Management Team (PMT) and alignment with PMT and Operationson fabrication plans, needs, objectives, and requirements.

• Developeffective relationships with contractor, stakeholders and customers to ensurealignment and agreement on overall fabrication activities including interfaceagreements, execution plans and assesses contractor capability ensuring PMT orother technical support is available to address gaps.

• Responsible forencompassing previous lessons learned and capturing and communicating newlessons learned.

• Cooperates withreview teams and supports post-audit activities with respect to contractadministration and subcontracting process improvements.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor Degreein Engineering or equivalent.

• 20 years’experience in oil and gas industry with at least 5 years’ at SeniorTransportation and Installation roles, having overall responsibility forInstallation activity execution and oversight.

• Broad andextensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriatesafety criteria related to marine transportation operations and offshoreinstallation, hook-up and commissioning, together with knowledge of offshorefacilities and structures.

• Demonstratedability and sensitivity to work with people from  variety of cultural backgrounds
