Radiographer

We are looking for a Radiographer to join our team at our base in Aberdeen on a permanent basis.2 weeks day shift then 2 weeks nightshift rota.  

Role Purpose

Qualified to PCN Level 2 in radiography with PCN Level 2 MPI and PCN Level 2 DPI you will be based onshore on a staff/permanent basis. The successful candidate will work as part of the NDT inspection team in the premises ensuring that oil and gas equipment is fit for purpose. This includes mainly welds and pipe work inspections. You will have experience in radiographic testing of equipment in accordance with applicable regulations, codes, practices, and procedures, loading and processing film, reading and interpreting film. You will prepare, set-up and complete all necessary paperwork while working as part of a team reporting to the Radiography Supervisor.

Hours of work are:

• Monday to Friday 7.45am to4.15pm day shift

• Monday to Friday 6pm –2.00am

• Overtime when required

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Essential: 

• PCN Level 2 Qualification in Radiography

• PCN level 2 in DPI

• PCN Level 2 in MPI

• CCNSG Safety Passport required

Desirable:

• PCN Level 2 RPS

• Other PCN Level 2 in NDTmethods
