Responsibilities:
- Support the Incident and Injury Free culture project execution with the installation contractor, especially when working offshore.
- Planning and preparations for offshore construction of subsea pipelines, subsea tie-ins, the LGP platform (offshore jacket, piles, topside decks, bridge, and flare).
- Review contractor’s calculations and design documentations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support the development of work plans and schedules and review EPCI contractor's plans and procedures to ensure technical and contract requirements are met.
- Support with management and oversight of EPCI contractor’s vessels mobilization plans, readiness for offshore campaign.
- Facilities loadout from fabrication site to offshore location in preparation of offshore activities.
- Support oversight of pre-fabrication of subsea pipeline risers and tie-in spools at EPCI contractor's base in Angola (if required to make business trips).
- Participate in review of the EPCI contractor's detailed offshore installation procedures, HAZIDs, SIMOPs planning and schedule. Support integration of the contractor’s schedule with the project overall integrated schedule.
- Support resolving interfaces and coordination with operations for the offshore installation.
- Support contract management activities.
- Support management of change processes offshore and help ensure conformance with design requirements.
- Serve on the company representative team in Angola during offshore construction activities, on rotational basis if required.
Experience:
- Degree in Engineering/Science with minimum 10 years offshore experience on installation vessels or drilling rigs
- Candidate must have 10 years’ experience with offshore installation of subsea pipeline and offshore facility (heavy lift for installation of offshore jackets, piles, topsides, bridge, and flare), & construction offshore
- Proficient in Safety Management
- Familiarity with the West Africa offshore work environment. (Any experience on previous CABGOC projects would be a plus and preferred)
- Required Courses & Certificates that are a must have: Safety Training Courses, Medical and BOSIET Certificate
- Able to work well as a member of a team and lead a work team.
- Ability to work well within a multinational team including Angolan Nationals.
