Job Description:


  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.

  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.

  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  • Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

  • Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.

  • Prepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.

  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

  • Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.

  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.

  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

  • Develops the skills of the team using methods such as coaching, training and other external sources.

  • Issues and monoscope’s for the BD team, ensuring that the individuals receive support in achieving these.

  • Liaise with Heads of departments to prepare and submit commercial offers

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients ‘objectives

  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners ‘needs and goals




  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Similar

  • Minimum 10 years’ Experience in similar position.

  • Should have sound knowledge in Power, Construction, MEP, Consultancy projects.
