Applus is a leading global energy service provider looking to recruit an ITAdministrator based within our Hartlepool Office. This role will involveworking within the Applus UK information technology department answeringsupport queries via phone, email and in person.

KeyResponsibilities of the IT Administrator include but are not limited to:

·        Setup, support andprovide fault resolution of corporate end user software and technology

·        Create and maintaintickets and assist with managing the Global helpdesk, ensuring jobs arecorrectly assigned and actioned within timeframes

·        Assist with ITlogistics, ordering equipment and IT asset management including assisting inaudits

·        Prioritise assignedtasks dependent on urgency and understanding of company/department requirements

·        Liaise with Global ITdepartment, external service providers, suppliers, and company employees inorder to ascertain and resolve any issues

·        Perform tasks asrequested by senior staff within the time frames requested

·        Provide support toand assist the Global IT technical team personnel as necessary

·        Escalate more complexcalls to the relevant internal or external support personnel

·        To maintain a highdegree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to servicemanagement principles

·        Undertake any otherduties as from time to time may be required by the Company

Whatwe would like from the IT Administrator:

·        Experienceof supporting others with technology issues

·        Abilityto troubleshoot and work under own initiative

·        Abilityto communicate well with people of all technical or non-technical levels andexperiences, in order to determine possible issues and faults explain faultsand corrective actions to be taken

·        Flexibleto meet the requirements of the role (some travel and out-of-hours work may berequired)

·        Awillingness to learn and develop in the role

·        Ableto effectively time manage and meet deadlines

Desirable skills, knowledge and experienceof the IT Administrator:

·        Knowledgeof basic computer hardware and its operation (CPU, RAM, HDD, etc)

·        Knowledgeof mobile phones and tablet operating systems (Android, iOS)

·        Knowledgeof Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10) and Microsoft Office apps(2013, Office365)

·        FullUK Driving license
