Role & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
 Develop and implement Inspection/QA Management Systems and Procedures in line with Clients performance standards and International Codes and Standards;
 Part of Risk based Inspection review team for developing or updating Risk Based Inspection programmes;
 Execute yearly Risk Based Inspection activities and manage resources for the same;
 Continually review and ensure optimum processes and personnel are in place to enhance efficiencies and improve productivity;
 Direct Inspection Planner, Inspection Coordinator, NDT/Rope Access Technicians, and other inspection personnel ensuring their compliance with Clients HSE Management Systems;
 Monitor the inspection programme, in consultation with the Inspection Coordinator and ensure that all inspection activities are carried out on schedule;
 Review, approve and timely publish Inspection Reports and Anomaly Notifications.
 Assess fitness for service and issue/oversee repair recommendations;
 Team Member of the Anomaly “Body Decision Meeting”, participate to the risk ranking of anomalies and decision on corrective actions;
 Identify new inspection technologies that may be appropriate for trial or use in Clients Inspection program;Page 31 of 99
 Provide consultancy support to the QA/QC team and Clients Engineers;
 Appointed as Client Welding and Non-Destructive Testing Technical Authority, responsible for the review or development of welding, non-destructive testing procedures and welders or NDT technicians’ competency assessments.

Education & Qualifications required (All certifications shall be valid)
 Minimum bachelor degree in relevant Engineering discipline;
 API 510 & 570 qualified;
 Proven experience or training in API 579;
 ASNT level 3 in UT, RT MPI and DPI;
 CSWIP Welding Inspector;
 Valid Offshore Safety Training Certificate (OPITO), IMIST;
 Fit for Offshore visits.

Experience Required
 10 years in-service inspection experience (onshore & offshore);
 5 years inspection management experience of working with aged assets in regulated offshore oil & gas environment in either North Sea, Europe, Australia or USA;
 5 years’ experience in supervision of inspection teams;
 Demonstrable understanding of inspection codes and standards;
 Able to perform Level 1 Fitness For Service assessments (as per API 579);
 Excellent computer skills (MS Office), including Word, Excel and Power Point;
 Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written);
 Experience of developing and approving NDT technical procedures, welding procedures;
