Applus UK has anexciting opportunity for a driven individual to join our team as a TraineeOperations Coordinator at our office in Aberdeen. As a leader inTesting, Inspection and Certification services, the Applus group look forwardto welcoming on board a candidate that will fully commit to the trainee programme, in order to work towards the Operations Coordinator position.

This position will involvea number of key duties as listed below, and the training programme is designedto support and develop the skills you will need to complete these duties to thehighest possible standard. Training is undertaken in a time frame agreed withManagement, and you will be fully supported throughout this process. 

This role is ideally suited to a recent school leaver who wishes to pursue a career in a fast paced challenging environment. 

Key duties include:

·        Coordinating assignments, liaising between the client and thetechnical Inspectors to ensure that the client’s quality inspectionrequirements are identified in full detail and accurately transmitted betweenall parties

·        Source and gain clients approval for, and recruit appropriateinspectors with sufficient experience and qualifications that match the clientrequirements

·        Liaising with the client to obtain and appropriately distributerelevant technical documentation

·        In putting and manage all assignment details

·        Manage all work related e-mails.

We are looking for candidates with thefollowing skills, who are eager to enhance their learning experiences in aninteresting job role:

·        Educated to GCSC (or equivalent) Passes A - C in Maths and English

·        Previous office administration experience ideally in anengineering inspection and quality assurance environment is desirable

·        Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills

·        Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records

·        Communicate effectively

·        Listen and apply instructions quickly

·        Capable of functioning in a demanding and fast-pace workingenvironment

·        Computer literate, in particular proficient using e-mail, MS Wordand Excel

·        You may be required to work extended hours or respond to clientenquiries outside of normal working hours, visit client premises to meet theclient co-ordinators or clients’ project co-ordination team.
