Due to recent successes in the oil and gas and nuclear markets, we are looking to recruit an Operations Coordinator to join our enthusiastic team here at our Offices in Dyce, Aberdeen.

As an Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for the selecting and mobilising suitable field inspectors for assignments, taking ownership of each assignment and building strong lasting relationships with both client and technician.

Candidates must be professional, resilient and positive to succeed in the role with a basic knowledge of countries around the globe and particularly in Europe, comfortable communicating with overseas offices and inspectors who could have basic English language. This will be a busy role, so you’ll be ready to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in!

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Selecting and mobilising suitable field inspectors for assignments
• Liaising with clients, inspectors and manufacturers to arrange inspections and track current status of all assignments
• Scheduling inspectors' visits, tracking all ongoing client requirements and ensuring they are met
• Processing work orders and associated documentation to inspectors
• Tracking all activity and documentation in our bespoke operating system, AMIS
• Receiving and reviewing all reports against Client documentation; reviewing and comparing all timesheets to their corresponding reports, invoices, etc.
• Responsible for managing all assigned jobs in line with company procedures and requirements

Desirable/Essential Skills and Experience:
• Proven background in coordinating field personnel in an engineering inspection and quality insurance environment
• Knowledge of relevant codes of practice in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Strong organisational skills and a clear appreciation of deadlines and responsibilities.
• Proficient in using all Microsoft Office and web based packages
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of personality types and cultures
• Efficient and able to pick up and apply instruction quickly
• Capable of functioning in a demanding and fast-pace working environment
• Quality Assurance/Document Control experience preferred but not essential
