·       Tocontribute to the development and implementation of processes, tool and workingmethods for continuous improvement.

·       To deliverBrownfield Project on time under the Qatargas Project Management System, tobudget and to the required level of quality.

·      Attend workshops,shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments,  deliverables to support project execution.

The Interface &  Execution Construction Senior Engineer positionrequires the flexibility and ability to travel to the EPC fabrication and loadoutyards, on and offshore and when required to be based partly at these locations throughtthe project phase through to handover to the asset owners team. Further to supportthe project team and home office. The context and challenges of the position aresummarised as follows:

To execute the I1P1 brownfield workscopeinclusive of two major high pressure high value shutdowns in 2020 and 2021 tomodify the existing offshore NFB installation in readiness for the futurehook-up and tie-ins in 2021-2023, the installation of two new bridges; onebetween existing PU and PR platforms and the other PU to PRQ1 (new) platforminclusive of power, communication, utilities modifications as necessary.

To ensure readiness of the Contractor,supporting and fulfilling the requirements of Company shutdown preparednessgated process

1.    To Drive visible leadership inteam and others of COMPANY Safety, Health and Environmental Policy and respectto individuals

2.    To Deliver project phaserequirements, milestones as defined in schedule in line with COMPANY ManagementSystem

3.    To be theLeader of a multi-discipline team as needed for the Construction activities

4.   To Supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractorsrelated to the construction works in respect of scope and in accordance toprioritization agreed with the Lead and head of brownfield project execution,based on emergency, safety, production and future development critical needs

5.   Guide, Mentor and act as role model forConstruction Engineers,coordinators and all contractors

6.   To deliver fabricated items with zero carryover works to the offshore construction team.

  1. To organize detailed design reviews with the Engineering, to ensure the value engineering and continuous development principles, constructability and hookability aspects of the works.
  2. To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
  3. To review deviations to QG construction standards for comments.
  4. With Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
  1. To co-ordinate with QA leader for all quality matters, including as well the management of quality audits as needed for a continuous control of Contractors/Subcontractors.
  2. Review Contractor’s progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.

3.   To organise the Technical Meetings as neededwith Contractors/Subcontractors

Engineering Degree with more than 10 years experiencein O&G facility design, construction, project management or operations¬        Technicalbackground with Minimum of 10 years experience in construction of O&G

¬        Experiencein offshore construction brownfield activities under SIMOPS Conditions.

¬        Extensive knowledge of industry best practice andconstruction standards

¬        Knowledgeablein Risk Assessment processes and applications.
