·        Responsible for providingtechnical, commercial and functional direction related to all aspects ofcontracting including the formulation and administration of ITB packages and EPCContract

·        Maintains contact withother Management personnel and Functional Managers. Legal and Risk Managementto obtain and provide information regarding contract issues

·        Preparation of ITB packagesand coordination of tender process with Supply, integration and legal.

·        Preparation, developmentand management of EPC Contract / Contract documents including coordination offull Contract scope definition

·        Evaluating EPC contractorsbid and making appropriate recommendations to Owner with respect toacceptability of Contract terms and conditions.

·        Administering the EPCcontract, documenting and recording all changes, progress measurements andpayments, management of claims, monitoring of bonds/guarantees, preparation ofContract modifications and closing out the contract.

·        Review contractual termsand conditions to insure compliance by the EPC Contractor and ensure Companyrequirements are continually being met.

·        Assist with the review andnegotiation of project change requests submitted by EPC Contractor.

·        Take the lead in preparingcontractual responses to the EPC Contractor.

·        Interface with EPC Contractorin resolving Contractual and Procurement related issues.

·        Review of RFQ’s and bidsummaries for compliance with project requirements and protection of Owner’sinterests.

·        Reviewing proposals foralternative vendors proposed by EPC contractor and evaluating acceptabilityboth technically and commercially.

·        Establishing and monitoringregular performance reporting and contributing to the monthly PMT progressreports.

Ensuringthat all procurement records are retained and archived in accordance with Owner’srequirements·        Direct reports to the NFE OnshoreHead of Contracts

·        Demonstrates ability toplan and schedule work (short term and long term) and ensures execution of workplan by sub-ordinates

·        Review contractual termsand conditions to insure compliance by the EPC Contractor and ensure Companyrequirements are continually being met.

·        Monitor Contractor’spurchasing, expediting, logistics and field materials management to insureschedule objectives are met.

·        Review and approve contractor’sprocurement/contracting procedures and documents

·        Assist with the review andnegotiation of project change requests submitted by EPC Contractor.

·        Take the lead in preparingcontractual responses to the EPC Contractor.

Interfacewith EPC Contractor in resolving Contractual and Procurement related issues.·        Works in a projectenvironment in which the incumbent strives to achieve best in class Safety,Health, Environmental & Security performance by creating a culture thatencourages everyone to perform their best every day on every task

·        Interfaces with variousproject teams and departments on resolving related issues that requireseffective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to inducecollaboration. 

·        Interacts effectively with QGmanagement and external stakeholders, including statutory auditors, shareholderauditors and other entities to discuss project practices and issues.

·        Manages a number of peopleand is responsible for the development and mentoring of the staff.

Communicatesconcisely in written and verbal context; prepares high quality writtendocuments including e-mails·        Bachelor of Science inEngineering

·        Strong Written and oralcommunication skills.
