A large multi-disciplinary consultancy are seeking a Senior Ecologist to provide a first point of contact to a range of clients. Suitably you should have exceptional written and oral communication skills, and possess the attributes to develop and maintain professional relationships. The role will require a sound knowledge of ecological theory and relevant wildlife and conservation legislation, as well as awareness of planning process and policy.

Ideally you will have

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Honours degree in Ecology/ Environmental Biology) and Chartered status
  • Protected species licences
  • Full membership of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management
  • Experience of managing/ executing ecological surveys and reports in a consultancy setting
  • Knowledge of habitat creation, management techniques and relevant legislation
  • Full driving Licence
